April Snow?

"April Showers Bring May Flowers!" Well, I thought this meant rain showers but this week we got snow showers! Along with the silly snow in the morning we also had a mama and dada duck in our backyard, they must have been lost. My brother and I had fun yelling at them through the window. We had a busy weekend and are getting ready for a fun time with friends tomorrow. We are having an Easter Egg Hunt, we are excited!

Dada bird, looking pretty but a little confused Snow with tulips??
Sam and I reading in our special spot on the chair together

Laughing and playing together, awww sibling love!

Mama and I got out today and had a chance to plant some peas (that is all we planted because my silly brother dumped out some seed packets. I guess it is ok though because he said sorry very sweetly)

I really enjoyed helping and learning

Mmmm....can't wait to eat peas

Spring?

Ok, maybe this time? A few days last week during "spring" break we got to get outside at least. I rode my bike and went to the beach and park by my house a few times. Last weekend I went to a fun birthday party at the Jump Zone. I had so much fun and remember last time I was there (a year ago) I was pretty nervous, but this time I ran in and only checked in with my parents between slides and jumps. So fun! Since it is spring, that also means that Easter is growing closer so my friends and I dyed Easter Eggs today. I think there may even be an Easter Egg Hunt in the future?? We have been reading Easter stories this week and learning all about Jesus and His resurrection as well.

I'm zooming along to the park on my bike!

Jump Zone Fun! Enjoying birthday cake...Happy Birthday Luke and Simeon!
Happy Girl....waiting for my friends to come over and play!

Not too sure about this blue color?
Jude and I taking turns with the colors, I think our siblings may be a little young for dying yet but we had it down!

Big Sister

Mama says that I have been the best big sister ever this week! I have been playing with Sam, reading him stories, and comforting him when he needs it. I also asked mom if I could hold him yesterday after several kisses, but she says he isn't really a baby anymore ;)

Reading Sam his favorite book

Putting on a show My ballet moves on stage!
A trip to the park in the crisp sunshine
I'm very proud of my Y's these days. I wanted to show Grandma my name but knew it wouldn't last a few more weeks on my drawing pad so mama suggested putting it on the blog for her to see.
A's and B's!

Spring?

It is spring break for mama and I have been having fun playing with friends. On Mondays we have been going to my friend Jude's house so the parents can do a group called Disciples in Mission. I love Monday nights because I get to stay up late, see my friends, and even have treats! This week I also got to play with my friends Maddie and Ava and even got to have a playdate with a new friend Estela! Spring break for mama doesn't mean a break for me though. I have been busy practicing letters and keeping up with my school. This week the theme was spring, but unfortunately we haven't seen any of that around here, just cold rain! Sam and I have been trying to get outside as often as we can but that doesn't happen too much lately.

On Saturday we took Sam to the train museum for the first time. He has been asking to go back every day since! I had fun but would rather go to the other museum.

Dancing with my friend Ava Practicing our moves before the performance
Letter practice, this is my favorite thing to do...matching upper case to lower case
Starting to learn to write other letters too
Don't know exactly what we were trying to do but it was fun! One more thing.. I rode my bike almost 2 miles yesterday! I'm so fast that mama had to run to keep up with me and dada and Sam came along with the stroller. We all got a workout!

Hiking

Sunday turned out to be a terrific day! Mama didn't have to go back to church and teach her class so we took advantage of the day. After Mass we went out to Starbucks together then went home to get ready. We packed up a yummy lunch and went on a little hike down at Larrabee park. We saw a train and were actually underneath it in the tunnel (which Sam absolutely loved) and then went down to the beach for a little picnic. They also have a fun park there! After our adventure there we went out to Grandma's for our Sunday dinner and some more time to make yummy mudpies! Sam and I worked together to make a delicious one!

Ready!

Mama and I went out on this rock but I was sure to say that I didn't want to go swimming today Sibling love!
I'm being a "Grown Up Lady!"

Mama and Dada had fun on the swing today...silly!

Springtime!

The last few days have really felt like spring here and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Playing outside is the best and I have even got to play at Grandma's house a few times this week. I love catching frogs, ladybugs, and all kinds of creatures! In fact, I caught several different frogs and didn't want to let them go. These pictures are from the last few weeks, I don't have any recent ones, I guess we have been having too much fun!

Playing with my brother, can you tell I'm excited for spring with my pants?
Down at Boulevard Park, chilly but pretty!
Sam's birthday cake! Yummy!!!
Playing with my brother in the backyard. He sure loves water and can find it anywhere!
The Saint Patrick's Day treats we made my friends for Mom's Group
Snuggled up in our jammies reading stories before bed, one of my favorite parts of my day

March

These past few weeks have been full of fun, family, and preparations. We had fun last weekend with my dad on his birthday and now we are getting ready for my brother's birthday. I love it when my relatives come to visit! Last weekend my Aunt Joanie came and this weekend my Grandma and Papa from Spokane are coming along with my Aunt Becky and Uncle Doug. I can't wait to celebrate Sam's birthday. I sure hope we get to do something fun!

Making my crown of thorns for Lent. I think my brother wrote about it already but this is a way we can prepare for Easter. When we do good works or make sacrifices we take out the "thorns" and then by Easter it will be a crown of roses! We have done a few other things as Lent begins on Wednesday!
Sam loves to help me with everything!
Playing with Auntie, she always has the best games and this one was a huge hit!
I caught one!!
Down at the park on our beautiful Sunday afternoon yesterday.
I can actually stop and smile for the camera now!
Playing down at the beach with my dada! I enjoyed a lot of time with him this weekend since my mom was busy at church.
Smiling with mama!
Painting my crown, almost done!
