Our Summer Spokane Trip

We went over to Spokane this month to celebrate the wedding of Daddy's cousin Tayler and also to celebrate our friends' baptisms (More on that on Sam's Blog).  We had a lot of fun hanging out with the family, introducing Nicholas, and of course swimming in the pool.  It was very hot and the pool was a "Cooler Offer!"  We are now done with our summer road trips and getting ready for me to start Kindergarten.  I have made a countdown and it currently reads just 11 days!!  More on school later.  Check Nicholas' Blog for a few videos too!!

"Riding the merry-go-round is fun, but spending time with friends is even more fun!"

When we were in Spokane we spent a night in the tent with Daddy.  "We camped out!"

"I'm a monkey.  I climbed all the way up the pole!"

"I love swimming in the pool, but I like my brother too!"

"I have my water wings and I even jumped off the diving board."  I practiced all the skills I learned at swim lessons this year and by the end of our time in Spokane I was going off the diving board without the wings and trying to swim by myself.  Can't wait for more lessons.

One day we went up to Green Bluff with Grandma and we found some sheep to feed.

Swim Lessons

We started swimming lessons last week and this year Sam gets to do them too!  We originally thought we were going to be in the same class but we aren't, that is ok though.  Sam was excited at first but I don't think he knew what was in store.  I, on the other hand, was a bit nervous at first and did not want to put my face in the first few days but now I'm jumping eagerly off the diving board and even went all the to the bottom of the deep end with my teacher!  My parents wish I could do some more lessons this summer, I'd probably be swimming on my own!
