My First Horse Ride

At the Fairhaven festival during Ski to Sea I got to ride a horse! It was a lot of fun and I just wanted to share a few pictures...

We have had a few sunny days here and there amongst the rainy ones. We've been taking full advantage of every outdoor opportunity. Last Sunday was the first time we've had dinner at Grandma Katie and Papa Bob's since before Easter - what a busy, fun-filled month of family and celebrations!

Ski to Sea

We had a few really nice sunny days last week! They don't seem to last long so we took full advantage. We played outside, planted flowers, and made several park trips with friends. Mama hasn't been taking her camera out at every opportunity, like always, so here are a few snapshots. Friday night was the Junior Ski to Sea parade and it was a great! My brother and I sat on the curb and had a lot of fun this year (I use to be afraid of the loud drums in the bands, but this year I liked the music and even got up to dance a little!) Next weekend is the big event and we are hoping for nice weather!

A Party for Mag-Pie

My cousin Maggie turned 3 this weekend, which meant fun with the family and, of course, cake. My grandparents and Aunt Becky got here Thursday and we got right to the fun. I love it when they come to visit. We packed a lot in to the weekend, Sam and I got to use our new fishing poles and I went for a swim in Maggie's pool.

Mother's Day Weekend

Wow, we sure had a busy weekend around here! First, Friday we went to one of my dada's coworker's house for dinner. They have two boys, a bit older and we played together for a long time. They had a super fun playroom with all kinds of exciting toys. It was nice to meet new friends. Then on Saturday my Auntie Joanie and her boyfriend came up and we spent the day hanging out and catching up. That night I had my first babysitter too! My mom asked me if I was going to have fun with her and I said, "I certainly am!" Then on Sunday we rode a train down to Seattle for the Mariner's game. My auntie, her friend, and my grandma and papa all came too! A long day, but we had fun!

My parents had to buy me a baseball hat because they were not prepared for all the sunshine. Definitely a nice surprise. Must be a Mother's Day gift??

I said the game was fun because I got treats, this was my favorite....cotton candy!! I enjoyed a few bites, but surely could not eat that much. Sam thought it was hilarious and could not stop laughing. (He didn't really eat any just laughed at sticking his tongue close to it!)

Spokane

Here is a quick post about our trip to Spokane last week. We had a lot of fun and it was great to see all of our family again, especially cousin Tayler who is going to be going away for a long time (to Afghanistan). Please pray for his safety and guidance as well as for his parents. Thank you!

At the park we saw some large birds....geese? I got a little too close and they hissed very loudly! I told my dada, "I think they thought I was their lunch!"

Mama and Dada met at EWU and we spent a day exploring campus and seeing college life.

Preparing for Bloomsday. I think I'll do it next year, what do you think? (My dada finished the race in about an hour!! Way to go dad!)

The two nicest days were the days we drove in the car (there and back). Oh well, we did get to stop in Leavenworth and enjoy icecream.
