VBS

This week I went to Vacation Bible School. The start of the week was hard for my brother Sam who cried and really wanted to stay with me. He came up to me after the first day and gave me a huge hug. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot! We sang great songs, did art projects, learned Bible stories, and even had yummy snacks every day!

We had free time in the morning before we went to the church to sing. I loved the toys.

My friend Carson enjoyed VBS too! The theme was Pandamania, but I told the teacher, "No, thank you when she asked if I wanted panda ears.

Early in the week my first butterfly hatched out of it's cocoon! So exciting!

Mama and dada took us on a surprise trip to the zoo on Saturday. They didn't tell us where we were going and we ended up at the Vancouver Zoo.

What a fun week! I spent some time with my friends Maddie and Ava, went to a fun place in Mount Vernon called Jungle Playland, enjoyed a few days with my cousin, and ended the week with a fun-filled BBQ with friends. Tomorrow I start a week of Vacation Bible School. I'm very excited but not quite sure what to expect. This will be the first time my mama drops me off at something, rather than coming with me. I'll let you know how she does with that ;). I have been very social and outgoing lately though and have been making new friends every where I go!

This is my friend Keira. Her mommy and my mommy are friends from high school. We got along so well! She even came to my house later in the week for more time playtime together.

A "Summer" Week

The weather here has been terrible, we can't believe this is summer but I guess it isn't stopping us from doing fun summer things. This week my dada was off from work and my Papa came from Spokane to help him paint our house. My Uncle Kevin helped too and can you believe they finished in just 2 days? I'll have to post pictures soon. This week we also went out on my Papa Bob's boat a few times. He was so nice to let my dad take it out while he was gone and we went out to catch crab. Boy do I LOVE eating crab! We had so much fun catching it too.

Mama just sounded out cat and I spelled it (I did the same with dog!) And this is Goldie the Sun! I sure want her to come out and play!

I get to see my cousin Maggie more this summer, I sure love having her over! I even share my bed with her during the day so she can take a nap! We decided that the low 60's was warm enough for swimming and ice cream.

I told mama that I wanted a butterfly party (after I changed from ladybugs). My favorite color is purple so here is how my cupcakes turned out. Aunt Becky helped with the new cupcake decorating kit my Grandma Katie found.

Me with my mama's cousin Ashley. They found each other on Facebook (Crazy!!) and found out that Ashley and her husband were coming up to Bellingham (from Denver). It was so nice to meet her and she sure was fun!
