Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Wow, I had so much fun this year! Although there was no snow this year, we had beautiful chilly weather so we were able to go to the park! (2 years ago on my first Christmas Eve we went to the same park and enjoyed the exact weather!) Following the park on Christmas Eve we attended a very long, yet beautiful Mass. I got to sit in the front row!! When we got home, we completed the last Jesse Tree ornament and said a special final prayer at the Advent Wreath, opened some Christmas jammies, and even read Twas the Night Before Christmas! You can certainly imagine how tired I was after this day!
On Christmas morning I woke up to find Santa had been to my house! Yep, all the way in Bellingham, Washington!! He brought me an art easel and a stocking full of neat things! Wow, I must have been a good girl! We are headed to Spokane tomorrow and I sure am excited! I have been talking about my Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Jim's house for a long time! (An extra thanks to my Auntie Becca and Uncle Nick for finding me a special WonderPets DVD for the drive! What a great present!)

This was my dada's present from Santa....a ski helmet! I sure can't wait to go with him!
Frosty the Snowman went on the walk with us

Growing Up and Doing New Things!

Mom says I am growing up too fast! Even so, I have experienced a few new things! This week I had my first bubble bath, which I love! I also got my first manicure ;) My Godparents had a fantastic Advent potluck with so many friends. All the candles are lit on the Advent Wreath and I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I have had a few playdates and love to play pretend with my friends. Ava and I were beautiful ballerinas on Monday and Jude and I played pretend for a really long time on Thursday! I am sure a lucky girl who is blessed with so many wonderful friends! Thank you all for being a part of my life!

Mmm...the delicious food. I told my mom the party was in here (with the food!)

This isn't everyone, but a few of the kids waiting for the family Rosary to begin. We did so good!!
Me and my beautiful Godmother (AKA Auntie Becca)
Mom and dad went out to a party at Church on Friday and I wouldn't let momma have her boots back. How do they look?

Fun Winter Weekend!

I guess it isn't technically "Winter" yet, but we did have a winter wonderland this weekend! My family had so much fun! First, we went to visit Santa again with my cousin, followed by a trip to her new house! We had lunch, then we all went out to cut Christmas Trees! That sure was fun! A few snowflakes fell when we were out at the tree farm but on Sunday it really snowed! Not too much but just enough to have a lot of fun! (What a change from last year ;) I loved it!!

On the way to tell Santa that I want a "real goldfish!"

This is as close as I would get, but major progress!

Holidays

Christmas is such an exciting time of year! My family and I are having so much fun preparing for Christmas and celebrating the season of Advent. I LOVE Christmas music and Christmas lights are just The Best!! I even picked out some new colorful balls for my dada's light display! We saw Santa last weekend. I didn't want to sit on his lap but my mom and dad did ;) I might try it again because I have seen him around and understand that he isn't really that scary.

These are from my Grandma's camera. We found some from Thanksgiving and my mom also borrowed it to try to take her own Christmas pictures. My brother and I are pretty hard to photo together, but she gets some snapshots of each of us separately. (I think she needs to take a photo class, then she could shop them together!) Here are a few of the photos she took.

Auntie Joanie brought a neat Gingerbread House for us to decorate on Thanksgiving. I was soo incredibly good and didn't even taste test the candy until the end!

Pure consentration!

This is harder than it looks

I think you should try this one AuntieThis is my fancy Christmas outfit

Are we done yet?

Wow! Are these the stockings that Santa fills? I'm so excited!
My brother loves me!

Making Christmas art! Can you tell my mom was a teacher?
