Not much is new here but I had to drop in to update with a few pictures. We have been trudging along with school, which I enjoy and it is a great way to keep us busy on these rainy winter days. I had a pretty bad cold (since Christmas) so the dr. gave me some antibiotics (the first time I have ever had to take them). Well, I gave my parents a fight and it took a whole jar of Nutella to get the medicine down...whew! I'm missing those chocolate smoothies though, good idea guys!

My dada is in Eugene for the week so I got to attend school with mama on Friday. I had soo much fun! I sat in the rocking chair and "read" stories to one of the "big girls" for a very very long time. I'm really good at making up stories now and was even rhyming my made up stories like I hear sometimes! She loved them and then I colored and drew with another big girl. I sure do miss my dada though. I asked my mom to go get him and take him from his workers the first night. I think we will have to start a countdown chart! Well, here are just a few snapshots of my life lately...

Another thing I enjoy lately is helping my mom in the kitchen. We made cookies, a cake for my grandma's birthday, and I like to help out with the meals too!

I don't know why I see my brother's face looking like this in all the pictures of me hugging him, I think I'll have to try something else

Letter B

This week "B" is for Beach, Books, Bed, and Brother. We have had beautiful, yet very cold weather lately so we have been bundling up and walking to the beach. We are excited the trail is open again (they were working on the park and trail system). My brother and I love it there! I have also been getting use to my big bed, yet still don't want to go to sleep at night. Once I'm asleep I sleep sooo good in my comfy bed though, and my brother loves it too. Sometimes we even read books together in it! Today is Monday and that means back to work for my dada (he worked from home last week), mama and I started school again, and my mama goes to work this afternoon, which means grandma is coming over...my favorite! Have a good week everyone!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday Jesus! What an exciting end to the Advent season. We had a very blessed Christmas here. We enjoyed spending time with family and friends, ate delicious food and even recieved some gifts. I feel like I've learned a great deal this year, especially about the importance of giving and making "sacricrices." More than once this month I was found picking out toys to give to needy children.... my parents found this very sweet.

Christmas Trip

We had a great trip to Spokane last weekend! It was so nice to see everyone and celebrate Christmas a little early. It was a quick trip but we packed a lot of fun things into it including a Gonzaga Basketball Game, watching Preschoolers sing, a trip to Cat Tails, and a lot of fun visiting with family! I did however miss the swimming pool ;) Thank you everyone in Spokane for a special visit and all the neat gifts! We are feeling so grateful!
