Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving here in Bellingham this year. It even snowed! We had about 6 inches out at my grandma and papa's and boy did I have fun. I went sledding, walked on water or ice (just like Peter I told my papa), and even made a snowman. He was pretty tiny because the snow was so fluffy and didn't pack that well. I ate a yummy dinner of prime rib and I liked the shrimp the best!!

This one forgot to make the last post but I really like dress up these days and here is one of my costumes...do you like?
Sledding with papa! They all turned into little kids today....we needed more sleds!
I am really happy, I swear
Dada built a really awesome jump, or as I called it a "cliff"
Snow angels never get old
Sledding on my tummy! Brave!
I even took my brother for a ride
We went pretty fast together!
I love the snow! Feels like a heat wave today compared to last week, but still felt a little chilly on the cheeks
Another dress up moment, this one at grandma's
Dumping my shrimp out to gobble them up first
Papa's yummy prime rib he cooked on his new smoker Treger Grill! Wow, Yummy!
Desert while watching an after dinner "show" what a treat!

The First Snow of 2010

Friday afternoon my Grandma and Papa along with Aunt Becky and Uncle Doug arrived from Spokane. I think they brought the snow with them because on Saturday when I woke up there was snow on the ground!! I was super excited and couldn't wait to play in the snow but unfortunately it was so cold I couldn't play long without freezing into a Lilypop! Wind chills made it into single degrees but I did manage to get out a few times. Grandma Bonnie and I had a fun time in the backyard, I think she is use to the cold. After a few trips out to enjoy this awesome snow it was time to celebrate mom's birthday. We went out to dinner and had a great time. Thanks to all our family who came to celebrate with us!

Getting ready to brave the cold, check out that smile!Having ice cream with Papa My dada immediately turns into a kid when he sees snow! Snow Angels! Hoping I won't blow away! We both love this stuff!Mama had hot chocolate with colored marshmellows ready when I came in! WOW! My Auntie's spoil me! My coat came from Auntie Joanie and this incredible musical instrument came from my Aunt Becky!Joanie was taking a picture with Sam and I just had to come in and join...so silly! "What should we order Joanie?" Loves! Singing with my brother while we wait for our food Feeding Mama her birthday Spumonti Painting my Jesse Tree...getting ready for Advent already!

The Train Museum

I guess you could call me a "home body" these days. I don't like leaving home (at all!) but usually once I'm in the car things run a bit more smoothly. Well, since Sam has been sick and the weather is changing I'm a happy girl at home. I did however have one big outing last weekend with my dada. I called it a "Date with Dada!" We had lunch together and then met up with Jude and Elijah at the train museum. They now have a baby sister...YEAH! I am totally in love with her too. Mama and I joke about who gets to hold her first and I have all kinds of silly questions for mama. The first curiosity was about why she doesn't talk and "Why was she so boring?" No offense Therese (isn't her name beautiful?) but she laid there and let me hold her. I also wondered if she wore a hat in Mrs. G's belly. Silly girl! Well, anyway here are some pictures of our trip to the train museum...

Playing with my brother...we really enjoy each other these days!
The rest are from my "Dada Date!"
I think we should add to our train set at home, this was sure fun!

Dress Up -Part 2

Day 3-Skunk, Day 4-Blessed Theresa. Yeah, no more dress up, that was a little too much excitement for me. We had fun on Halloween at the Jones' Halloween Bash, went trick or treating, and celebrated All Saints Day. Here are some pictures of the fun...

Happy Skunk heading to party
Cuddling with my friend Ava and Auntie Becca
Getting set up for the game....pin the collar on the priest. I didnt' quite understand the game and had lots of questions for my mom afterward but she was proud of me for playing Yeah Lily!
Stretching out for some serious Trick-or-treating
Heading out for some trick or treating. My Grandma Bonnie made my brother and I some bags to collect all the treats in.
Are leafs considered treats?
Trick-or-treat
We had a big group of kids
Blessed Theresa
Too bad this costume lasted all but 2 minutes in the church. It was fun to see all the other kids dressed up though.
