Our Business Trip

The Oregon Coast was beautiful, eventful, and I got to see some of my family, but boy am I glad to be home. My dad says that nobody else will be able to use my carseat because it is molded to my bottom! I have never spent so much time in the car (but I was a champ!). We stayed with my Auntie a few days and spent a few days at a resort. I had a lot of "Firsts" so I thought I would share with all of you.

The Fam
Holding my own bottle!Sitting in a highchair for the first time.
I am ready. Where is my food?
Staying in a hotel was great. I didn't even have to sleep! (haha)
We stayed at a nice hotel in Yachats and they even had a pool! My mom and dad decided it would be fun to take me swimming for the first time. I have been looking at that cute swimsuit in my closet wondering when I would be able to wear it. I LOVED the water (no surprise to my parents). They had a kiddy pool where I could sit and splash, but I think I liked the big pool with dad the best. I got to kick my legs and pretend to be a frog.

Testing the water.
Mom is even in too!
Splash, splash.
This kinda stings my eyes.

New Adventures

I am becoming such a big girl, so my mom and dad say. I have two big bottom teeth that help me eat three meals a day. I even snack on some Mum Mum crackers! Mom tries to force me to eat her homemade food, but I prefer Gerber much better, hopefully she will realize that soon. I am sitting up by myself these days, although I tumble sideways every now and then. As for sleeping, I am kinda confused with all these changes. I sleep only in my crib these days and they have done away with my Swaddle!!! So sad...Oh and I have heard the words sleep training being tossed around. Will someone tell me what all these changes mean?

I am going to visit my Auntie Joanie on Tuesday. Dad is going to the Oregon Coast for work and Mom and I are going to tag along. We are pretty excited. I don't really remember the beach, but mom and dad say that I have been before. Sounds pretty fun! Well, here are a few pictures of what I have been up to these days.

For dinner I had sweet potatoes, carrots, and applesauce for dessert! I'm a growing girl!
I love "Nakie Time" and this is one of my favorite toys.
"Please save me from that big bed...."
Playing with Grandpa. Boy this is fun!
What is this razzberry thing? It reminds me of a pacifier, but feels great on my teeth.
Look at me! Sitting up all by myself.

Maybe this hat is why I keep tipping over????

Look-alike Meter

Mom was just goofing around while I was sleeping with this crazy thing. She thinks it may be a little off! It says that I equally look like my mom and dad...hehehe. When were those pictures taken mom and dad?

New Stats

I promised an update after my doctor's appointment, so here it is....I am a whopping 15.1 pounds and somewhere around 24 1/2" long. The doctor said I am just a "Little Peanut" but healthy. I told him all about the last two months of my life. Any opportunity I have to talk these days, I take it. My parents love it when I "sing."

Water, a new addition to my diet.
This is my friend Lucy, I am 5 days older.

My Half Birthday!!

Hello Everyone! Today I celebrated my half birthday! Can you believe it? I am 6 months old! I started the day by going to play group with all my friends. I then spent some time with my friend Maddie and we chased each other (actually I was in the Baby Bjorn while mom chased Maddie). I thought it was so funny and cracked up! Then we went to lunch with my friends and Godmother. We went home and boy was I exhausted! Mom is trying to get me to sleep in my crib lately (not my favorite Amby Bed). So, I took a nap in my crib and then spent some time with dad when he got home. Here are some pictures of my eventful day!

Smiling is my favorite thing to do these days.
Do I really have to sleep in this big bed mom?
Avocados! One of my favorites (so far)
I can't believe I ever hated this. Bath has become so much fun! You should see me kick.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! My parents came home from their new years party just before midnight and we were able to ring in the new year together. I was up crying and searching the whole house for them. Grandma Katie was helping me look. When they walked in the door I was all smiles, just knowing I wouldn't have to watch the fireworks without them. I am sure glad I woke up when I did.

Do you like the new look to my blog? My parents have been helping me spiff it up. I am bringing in the new year with a new tooth (actually it is my first tooth). It seems to be keeping me up at night and shortening the length of my naps, but I guess my mom will live (keep your fingers crossed).

I go to the doctor next week to find out how big I am. Hopefully there are no shots this time, but I have a feeling there will be. Boy, I am almost 6 months old! It is so hard for my parents to believe! I will let you know the stats next week. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I am looking forward to big things in 2008.

Another Christmas?

Wow, this is so exciting! I get to have two Christmas's. Grandma and Grandpa Williams came over on Thursday to celebrate Christmas with my family along with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Julie. We had a delicious dinner and opened presents at Kevin and Julie's place. I got some more neat toys and of course some cute clothing! (Just what I need =).

I still think the wrapping paper is the best present yet!
This gift bag tastes pretty good too!
I love my Grandma Bonnie!
Showing off my new scarf. Am I fashionable or what?
