Hiking

Sunday turned out to be a terrific day! Mama didn't have to go back to church and teach her class so we took advantage of the day. After Mass we went out to Starbucks together then went home to get ready. We packed up a yummy lunch and went on a little hike down at Larrabee park. We saw a train and were actually underneath it in the tunnel (which Sam absolutely loved) and then went down to the beach for a little picnic. They also have a fun park there! After our adventure there we went out to Grandma's for our Sunday dinner and some more time to make yummy mudpies! Sam and I worked together to make a delicious one!

Ready!

Mama and I went out on this rock but I was sure to say that I didn't want to go swimming today Sibling love!

Springtime!

The last few days have really felt like spring here and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Playing outside is the best and I have even got to play at Grandma's house a few times this week. I love catching frogs, ladybugs, and all kinds of creatures! In fact, I caught several different frogs and didn't want to let them go. These pictures are from the last few weeks, I don't have any recent ones, I guess we have been having too much fun!

Playing with my brother, can you tell I'm excited for spring with my pants?
Down at Boulevard Park, chilly but pretty!
Sam's birthday cake! Yummy!!!
Playing with my brother in the backyard. He sure loves water and can find it anywhere!
The Saint Patrick's Day treats we made my friends for Mom's Group
Snuggled up in our jammies reading stories before bed, one of my favorite parts of my day

March

These past few weeks have been full of fun, family, and preparations. We had fun last weekend with my dad on his birthday and now we are getting ready for my brother's birthday. I love it when my relatives come to visit! Last weekend my Aunt Joanie came and this weekend my Grandma and Papa from Spokane are coming along with my Aunt Becky and Uncle Doug. I can't wait to celebrate Sam's birthday. I sure hope we get to do something fun!

Making my crown of thorns for Lent. I think my brother wrote about it already but this is a way we can prepare for Easter. When we do good works or make sacrifices we take out the "thorns" and then by Easter it will be a crown of roses! We have done a few other things as Lent begins on Wednesday!
Sam loves to help me with everything!
Playing with Auntie, she always has the best games and this one was a huge hit!
I caught one!!
Down at the park on our beautiful Sunday afternoon yesterday.
I can actually stop and smile for the camera now!
Playing down at the beach with my dada! I enjoyed a lot of time with him this weekend since my mom was busy at church.
Smiling with mama!
Painting my crown, almost done!

Our Weekend

We enjoyed our family and friends this weekend and here is a quick post with a few pictures....

On Thursday we attended a blessing and the placing of Anna's beautiful headstone. I know a lot of you have been praying for the Brulotte family as they morn their beautiful little girl. The headstone they chose was just perfect with a nice prayer and symbols on the back, which you can't see here. It also had her handprints and her brother and sister's signatures, which we liked. All the kids got to release a balloon up to her in Heaven too. It was a sad afternoon though.
Enjoying some chocolate milk after church, a weekly tradition in our family
Brother also has to have his chocolate milk
Playing at grandma and papa's with my godsister Maddie
Cheese! What a fun family weekend!

Valentine's Week

Saint Valentine's Day was sure fun! I slept in and then woke up to a delicious breakfast and gifts! I even put on my favorite turtleneck, because I love turtles (really, I love to say that!) We went to a party put on by some friends from church and then I got to go to school with Mama and have cupcakes. I think I was having a serious sugar overload by the end of the day!

Thanks Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim
We went to the Children's Museum again this week. That place is a lot of fun, we should get a membership Mama!

School and Cousin Maggie

Since my Grandma and Papa were in Hawaii this week I got to go to school with my mama! My brother and I had so much fun and were so good. I met really nice kids, played games, had snacks, did homework, and loved all the "big kids." This week I really liked playing with a little girl named Nena, she is 5! Later in the week I made valentines with my friends and then on Sunday I got to see my cousin. It was so nice getting together and we vowed to each other we will do it more often!

Nena and I playing a game together
It was her turn to draw and I was guessing
My turn! Nena looks stumped, I think she needs a clue
Mom snuck these two on my blog. Oh well, they are pretty neat!

Field Trip

We survived a week without our dada! He actually got to come home a few days early, which we all loved. During the time that he was gone we decided to go on a field trip down to the Children's Museum in Burlington with the Gonnellas. We had a blast and are planning another trip very soon! Sorry this took a while to post, but here are a few pictures.

The clan....we loved riding in Auntie Becca's car!
Ava and I playing in the sensory bin....who knew a bin full of rice and toys could be so fun?
Driving the boat, Maddie is captain
Friends forever!
Playing in the sand pit with my brother. I think we both agreed this was our favorite part.
Last week in school we learned about zoo animals, here is my friendly lion.
