Swim Lessons -Week 1

Week one complete! Let's just say everyone in the club knows who I am and I got some one on one lessons with the director. For the last two days I've been with my class, just hanging out on the teachers back (without crying!!) Progress is being made! Maybe next week I'll fully join the class. I have one more week of lessons and then we are off to Spokane so I can test out my new skills in Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim's pool! I thought I was going to get a break from the pool today (Saturday), but the whole family decided to go for a swim. Exciting news: Sam and I both dunked our heads for the first time!! Dad says the look on my face was a combination of "I did it!" and "I can't believe you did that to me!" All in all, I'm cool with it.

Strawberry Shortcake Extravaganza!

The three are three!! Lucy, Ava, and I had a strawberry shortcake party at the gym and we sure had a blast! Enjoy the pics....

Summer is Here!

We are so lucky! Summer finally arrived this week and we have been having so much fun! Spending time with friends and playing in the water are two of my favorite things to do now. There are also two exciting things coming up that I just had to share with you...first, tomorrow my friends Lucy, Ava, and I are going to have our joint birthday party! I can't wait. Secondly, next week I am starting swim lessons! I think my parents are more excited about this one, but I will be ready when I go to Spokane at the end of the month.

My Birthday Weekend

I'm three!! I had a super duper weekend and the rain held off for the most part. It was chilly but we still got out and did some fun things with Grandma and Papa, as well as Auntie Joanie. First, we went raspberry picking. That sure was fun and I think we will be doing that again. Sam and I had fun doing a little taste testing but I really did pick some and covered the bottom of my bucket! After the farm I got to go on a special lunch date with my Grandma and Papa...yes, only me! We had pizza, my favorite and then they took me to pick out a Lilly for my birthday. I got to fly my kite at the park, and even rode my bike around!

Sunday was my birthday so after church dada made me a special breakfast. I had a fun barbecue and my best buddy Jude came to celebrate with me. I got to see a few fireworks, had a fire with smores, and even got to do some sparklers, however I didn't make it to the big fireworks, maybe next year! Here are a few pictures from my weekend...

Getting Ready!

Getting ready for my birthday! Yeah, it is on Sunday and I can't wait! A whole 3 years old, going on 13. I told dada the other day that I was going to be a woman soon (No joke...LOL). Dada said...."Promise me not for a long, long time!" Anyway, Grandma Bonnie, Grandpa Jim, and Auntie Joanie are coming to celebrate with me and I told mom that I wanted chocolate cupcakes....MMMmmmm, chocolate!
