A Fun Few Weeks

We have had a busy yet relaxing, fun filled two weeks at home with our little family of 5.  My daddy was off work so we had several fun outings with him, visits to Grandma's, and to top it off, a visit from my Auntie Joanie over the weekend.  We also had a visit from our good friends the Gonnellas who moved to southern Oregon last fall.  We got to meet their new baby, Gianna, and I had so much fun playing with my friends.  It was hard to watch them drive away.  On another note, I am really loving being a big sister again and am a big help to my mama.  I also have been spending a lot of time outside catching bugs, frogs, and chasing butterflies.  We are all looking forward to more sunshine and hopefully soon!
(We are trying to figure out this new blogger and get a blog up for my brother.  Then we will just take turns updating blogs and let you know how it works out)

My New Little Brother

This is my new baby brother. My parents decided to name him Nicholas, even after I begged and pleaded for his name to be Xavier. My mama has no idea where I came up with this name but I told my Grandma, "My parents can call him Nicholas, but I will call him Xavier!" Silly!!
Anyway, my brother was born on the 15th at 11:15 in the morning. He weighed 7.5 pounds and 19 1/2 inches long at 12 days early! At this weight, my mama was sure glad he was early. I was only 5 lbs 15 oz! We will write more about his birth later but just wanted to share a few pictures. I got to go see him yesterday and was in love! I told my daddy that I couldn't wait until he came home to my house. We have to decide what we are going to do about these blogs. 3 is a lot to keep up with! Any ideas out there?

Happy Easter!

We had a glorious weekend celebrating Easter. It helped that the weather was beautiful, Grandma and Papa came from Spokane, and we had a lot of fun events. We went to an Easter Egg Hunt with cousin Maggie at her daycare, dyed eggs, barbequed, and did a lot of playing outside. On Sunday we went to church and then hung out at Grandma Katie's house. Tomorrow we are having our friends over for an egg hunt in our backyard. I can't wait! Happy Easter Everyone!

On Saturday we went to Maggie's daycare (thanks for inviting us) and saw the Easter Bunny and hunted for eggs.My friend Thomas was there! His mom is one of my mama's friends and works at Maggie's daycare. He is such a nice boy!!
Thomas helped me find this!!
And I traded that pretty gold egg for this! I was sooo happy! The look on my face was priceless as I walked out of the building to show everyone my bunny. Cute!
