Our Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving here in Bellingham. We went to Mass at Sacred Heart, went to Starbucks, then home for a relaxing thankful afternoon with the family. Mama and Dada made a wonderful dinner and both Sam and I ate a lot! We hope you all had a blessed Thanskgiving as well!

Sam has two turkeys on his and mine is the big turkey. You can tell but she has eyelashes too!

These were the things I was thankful for this year (I came up with them all on my own!)
Playing with my brother

Our chocolate milk outing after church

Cheers!! (Spicy sour juice that I didn't care for)

My Thanksgiving prayer I decorated

I picked out the dessert mama made, can you tell I was excited? It was chocolate covered raspberry cheesecake! Yummy!

Black Friday wasn't really "black" here in Bellingham. It was beautiful so we decided to meet cousin Maggie (and Aunt Julie and Uncle Kevin) down at the park for some chilly fun. Dada is in the background fixing my bike so I can race with Maggie.

There we go!!

Taking a break for some fun. Do you like Maggie's "puffer" face? She is so silly!

The tide was so far up we had to just look at the beach from up hereNow it is time to get ready for Christmas!! Today Sam and I went to get pictures taken and are now preparing for Advent to start tomorrow!!

Happy Early Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! We had planned a trip to Spokane but have had interesting winter weather with the pass already closing multiple times, so we decided to be safe and stay home this week. We sure miss all our family in Spokane!! My other Grandma and Papa are going to see family in Vancouver so my Momma is cooking her first Thanksgiving dinner. We have had a very restful week around the house with Daddy being off and have enjoyed family time It has been so nice and we are looking forward to our little Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. There is so much to be thankful for this year!!

I came out dressed as a fairy and was granting wishes. I said I was going to turn my dada into a daddy who never had to go to work, a mama who never had to leave the house, and the camera into a camera that never had dead batteries.
Brrr, but loving the sunshine
Sam and I each caught a frog!
I went into my room and bundled up all by myself preparing to go play in the backyard. I told Momma that the only part of me that was cold was my legs! I'm ready for some snow now!
Pushing Sam on the swing
Snuggled up reading stories with my daddy
Making handprint turkeys
I drew a picture of Sam and I playing in the rain puddles

Halloween

I went to school with the big kids last week and had a lot of fun. I am Ms. Social these days and really enjoyed playing there. On Monday (Halloween) we got to decorate pumpkin cookies and later went trick or treating. I was a cat during the day and a hula girl at night. Halloween was so much fun this year!!

I took my cat ears off but here is my delicious cookie Maybe someday I will really get to see a real hula girl in Hawaii
At the Trunk or Treat event

There is a new place in Bellingham called the Time In Cafe. It is great! They serve healthy, local food, coffee, and teas. They also have a great indoor play area for kids to play. We checked it out on Saturday and Sam and I would love to return. Anyone want to join us?

Riding the backhoes together

I found a friend there and we ran around playing dress up and holding hands

Getting to be such a big girl! This was before church this morning.

I went to kid church (a dismissal for kids to hear the Bible readings and discuss them together) all by myself today. It was the first time I just walked away from my parents for something like this. So independent! I don't know who taught me these poses?

All bundled up. It is chilly here, but we have loved the sunshine lately!
