My First Haircut and More!

So my brother got a haircut last week and this week it was my turn. On Friday after school, Mom took me to a salon to get it done. I was pretty nervous and said I didn't want a haircut, but it wasn't that bad and in the end I was happy! I like it and it is much easier to manage. Here are a few more pictures of my weekend....

I got to go visit my friends Simeon, Luke, and baby Jordan. It was fun to play with boys and I sure worked hard to make the baby laugh!

On Saturday we went to the Children's Museum and I decided to wear my ballet attire out and about.

Harvest Festival and Hiking

Our church/school had a big festival last weekend. The weather called for rain but it ended up being beautiful thanks to a lot of prayers. We spent most of Saturday at the festival and I definitely got my bracelet worth down the slide. I am still a little too nervous to go in the other jump houses with the big kids. Sunday we decided to go on a short hike and I did great! It was so fun and we made it back to the car just in time before the big downpour. I am already looking forward to our next hike, hopefully it will be before spring.

School

Preschool is going great and I just had to share a couple pieces with you. This week focused on family and how God gave us each special roles. I'm working on writing my name too!

My grandma really hurt her back so please say a little prayer for her. So, today I went to school with my mama and had so much fun. I played outside with all the big kids (without my mama)and socialized with them (mom was so impressed).Playing with my friend Katie Ray. She was teaching me new games and was really nice.

The End of Summer?

Other than trying to get healthy, we have just been having a good time here. My grandparents came to visit this past weekend and we had fun. All the busy summer activities are winding down but that just means a different kind of busy here. My mom started working at school again and my brother and I even got to go with her last week one day! I am enjoying school (preschool) and learning a lot. My favorite part is the different stories we read (surprise, surprise!). Here are a few other things that I have been doing....

My first trip to the dentist. Mom was so proud of me she even put the pictures on Facebook (so some of you may have already seen these). It was a great place and a very nice dentist! The hygienist even read stories to me while we waited for the dentist to see me.
I had to wear these cool shades so the bright lights wouldn't bother my eyes, but I didn't mind
