The Entertainer

I am becoming quite the entertainer, between rhyming, telling Sam stories and singing along at church and in the car, my parents are quite amused. My favorite thing is to tell you what rhymes with the word you just said. "Want to read a book" will get you "book, took rhyme" and if I can't think of one, I'll ask you for an example. This afternoon I made up a story for Sam, it was almost 10 minutes long and hilarious. Ok, enough of my boastfulness - on to the pictures.

Running with Ava at the park
Pure joy!!
Do I look like I'm up to something?
Just trying to splash you Mama and no, Dad did not teach me this ;)
If we hang out under here, we can stay outside longer
Ah, the parade. Too many bands and not enough of the men driving in circles in little cars
This was a "small kid's cone" - I'm pretty sure the other size was "Your pants better have an elastic waist band"
"Swimming" in the bathtub

May Days!

Been a couple weeks since my last update and in that time I had a visit from grandma and papa from Spokane, a birthday party, a new bed, lots of bike riding, and tons of playing outside! The weather is still pretty cold but that doesn't stop me from being outside as much as possible. I LOVE riding my bikes and dad can't get me off them (his dream!). I also enjoy my new bed and so does my brother! Mom says it is so cute that we are starting to talk to each other and interact more. I try to teach him things too!

Here I am teaching Sam about the parts of the body!
Spending time swinging in the sun! Ahh....the life!
Walking on the beach in Birch Bay with Grandma and Papa! We found lots of shells and I shoveled lots of sand in my new bucket!
Had to squat, my legs got tired! This is a lot of work!
This is my neighbor friend Kacy! She is a big third grader, but she plays so nice with me! We love to ride bikes together, I just don't understand why she can't ride with me at 10:00 in the morning.
At my cousin's birthday party! Yes, I really don't like my picture taken, but I do love food!
Happy Birthday Maggie!!
Can you believe she is 2 already? She had a fun fish party....I even got to take a goldfish home!
You think if I run fast enough I will fly with these?
Trying to take off
After the party we got to go into my cousin's pool! I'm getting use to it but you should see my cousin the fish! Wow, I think she needs to teach me!
My new bed....yes, Sam wants to sleep with me too!
Ok, he is more excited than I am!!
More bike pictures! We took my bike down to the park and I zoomed around. This is my balance bike and I'm getting really fast!
Gliding with my feet up!
My Papa Bob's latest project. Just had to put this in here ;) I think this pond and waterfall is big enough to be a pool! Maybe I can practice my strokes in there??

May Days are Here!

This weekend was the first of the year where it was really nice and warm - ahh, we love the sun around here. I guess months of rain really make you appreciate the nice days. As my Uncle Bob said "You only get 52 Saturdays a year, and most of them ain't like this" - oh, by the way, my Aunt Debbie and Uncle Bob came to visit.... that was pretty awesome. We made our first trip of 2010 to the Farmer's Market and then went to the beach.

Last week my Mom invited 10 of my friends and their Moms over to make flowers to celebrate Mary - May is the month dedicated to honoring Mary, the mother of Jesus. Then we took the flowers to the statues of Mary at the church and sang a song and said a prayer or two.

My flowers for Mary
The older kids took the lead on decorating
Yep, always looking for something to climb on
Ahh, the Farmer's Market.... smells like Hippie
Aunt Debbie was nice to share her snow cone after mine met it's end prematurely
Look at the smile, I wonder if she knows what we made her already?
Showing cousin Maggie my Gingerbread Man impression
I'm holding a little crab, and thinking that this was the same type of crab we catch on Papa's boat, tried to eat it..... ooops!
mmmm, mm - I love me some BBQ and Watermelon
Happy Mother's Day... now can you put the camera away ---- see this French Toast???
I'm getting really good at riding my bike and never want to stop.... like someone else I know
I asked Dada to ride with me since he had his bike here too. I won.
