Toddlerhood

I am growing up and really becoming my own little person. I can count to 9 -almost 10, talk in phrases, self entertain frequently, and even think I am too old for naps. I rest in my bed every day (or talk), but I think napping is for the little babies on most days. Mom is not to happy with me, but what can I do??

Grandma and Grandpa came from Spokane last weekend and we had Christmas again! Thanks to everyone who gave me noisy toys, my dad is currently plotting his revenge. I got to spend time with my cousin Maggie too! Also, thank you to all my family in Spokane who sent presents. I missed you!

I continue to love Elmo. I try to feed him and even tried to put my socks on him today.

My favorite thing to do lately...I just sit and read to myself

Mama got her new camera today and she sure didn't let it sit around. I think she documented our whole day! She hasn't figured out all the great features yet, but the easy mode worked great.

Well, first we had snow and couldn't go anywhere, now we have rain that keeps us in the house as well. School was even canceled today due to the flooding, so I didn't get to see the kids. When dada came home we headed out in the rain to see the flooding down the road. As we walked down the hill to see all the water I yelled out "boat!" We didn't actually see any boats, but it sure looked like you needed one!

Mama and I were busy cooking all day! One of the things we baked were some cupcakes...mmmmmmm. I got to frost the first one, but.....

...I think I need my own little table now?? (We cleaned the floors today too, don't worry)

Happy New Year 09!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I am also 18 months old today! Wow, a whole year and a half and pretty soon I will be welcoming my new baby brother. Maybe welcoming is not the right word?? So, what have I been up to lately? Well, I love to be in charge and tell everyone what I want, and when I want it. I am VERY vocal and sing and talk all the time-guess not much has changed there. I love to cook in my new kitchen and make "fofeee" (coffee) for mom and dad. They also got me some food to make (they tell me it is fake, but I like to try it anyway).
Sorry, there are no pictures...unfortunetly my moma's camara is broken and she is waiting for the new one to arrive. She is having a hard time without a camera as you know how much she loves to take pictures. Dada is sorry he broke the old one and got to buy a new one. Hopefully, she'll have it soon. Happy New Year everyone!
