Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! After a 3 1/2 hour nap (a long night prior) I was ready to party....and help cook. We went to Grandma Katie and Grandpa Bob's this year and my Auntie Joanie came up as well. I had fun getting reaquainted with my auntie and spending time with the fam. I have so much for which to be thankful! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

I thought I should help Grandma in the kitchen (I got this stuff out all by myself)
Wow, is that really a bird Papa?Thank you Lord for all my blessings and this food!

November Update

Well, I got over the flu and ended up with a cold last week. I am feeling better so I thought I would share a bit of what I have been up to lately. You all know how much I love my books, now I am pretending to read everything! Today at Haggens I enjoyed telling my mom what was in her pork and what the price tag said. Everyone finds it amusing! Also, I am trying to get use to the fact that I will have a little brother in a few months. This Sunday at church I lifted my mom's shirt up, took out my "bink" and said, "Baby" while giving him a little kiss.

Sometimes when I wake up from my nap I feel really feisty and silly. I giggle and run back and forth sliding side to side in my crib. Mom and dad love to watch!
My favorite book of all time (right now) is Green Eggs and Ham. While it is 62 pages, we skip around most of the time but dad has patience and gets through it with me. Mom says she can't read it one more time!
Whenever it isn't raining we try to get outside. We went on a family walk today since mom didn't have to work. Brrr....good thing I am all bundled up, but you cannot put my hands inside this annoying blanket thingy and I refuse to wear my mittens -yes, they are freezing!
Playing with the kids at school. They were really hyper since it was the last day before break, but I enjoyed the slide. I do however get really angry when the girls hover over me and don't give me space. Claustrophobia!

These three girls really love me (a little too much!)
Hi Mom!
Just looking so much older!

Update and Funny Story -From Mom

Poor Lily had the terrible flu last week (after receiving a flu shot a few weeks ago). It was miserable! It is possibly the worst thing to watch your baby throw up and be so upset about it. I think Lily was more upset about the mess than anything and kept saying, "Uh oh." Unfortunately Matt was also out of town so we hung in there and made it through a very long night. I didn't feel that great for a few days, but luckily didn't get it as bad as our poor little girl. Hopefully, the flu won't come around again for a long time!

Lily amazes us more each day with her speech and how smart she is. She now says, "I love you," which is possibly the cutest thing ever! She will repeat anything and is pretty proud of herself, especially when saying people's names. Lily is also repeating things and says "naughty" or "good girl" when I say it. She believes the louder the better and she makes us laugh so hard sometimes!

Now for the funny story....Lily usually goes to the bathroom (sorry for the embarrassing story Lily) in the morning. Yesterday she looked at me and said, "Poop" while pulling at her diaper. Then today she did the same thing after going to the bathroom and pulled the diapers (apparently she thought she needed more than one) out of the basket on the changing table. I asked her if she could lay down and she freely laid down and let me change her. This is very unusual for her since she rarely likes to sit still, even for a short diaper change. Wow, she is growing up way too fast!

Thank You Veterans!

In honor of Veterans Day we went to say "Thank you" to some local veterans at a nursing home. We went with my friends and Godmother and had a great time passing out American Flags. Everyone there was so happy to see the young kids and I know we made their day! Thank you veterans for serving our country and sacrificing so much for our freedom!

Happy Halloween!!

I was so excited for Halloween I couldn't even sleep the night before (Hey, I might as well get my parents ready for my little brother, right?) Anyway, the day finally began when my buddy Carson came over. We were so happy to see each other, since it has been a while! We played for a while and then he took a nap. I on the other hand was just too excited and did not nap all day! I went to school and partied with the big kids, went to a carnival, played on a wet playground, and even saw my friends. I got use to my costume and called myself a "Ruff Ruff" whenever I saw my reflection or picture. My parents managed to only allow me a few candy corns, but I guess my share of candy will be coming in the future, I can't wait! What a fun holiday.

A monkey and puppy

I really don't know why I can't eat this "nana"

Don't dogs belong outside? Why can't I go?

This little puppy loves to read!

Checkin' out a new book from Carson's mommy

Happy to be seeing all these cute costumes!

Now this is way more fun!

Lovin' the slide! I can' go down all by myself now!

The daddies and their girls! Look at all those smiles!
