Party!

Here are some snapshots of the party in Spokane that my Grandma Bonnie threw for me. It was real fun! I got to see the whole family and even got to play with some ribbons, tissue paper, and new toys (and clothing of course!). I loved the attention and all this with no nap! Whew!

This bow is beautiful!
Look at my new purse!
I love this toy! It is the perfect size and I can do it all by myself!
The Best Part!!!!
Is there any more in here?
Weee...my first wheelchair ride. Thanks Great Uncle Jim.
Thank you everyone! I love you all!

Sun, Splash, Spokane

We had a relaxing trip to Spokane and arrived home safely on Sunday night. Wow, that is a long drive! It took us 7+ hours each way, but I did great in the car. I got to play with some great toys, spend time with the family, and even go swimming (which I wasn't fond of -until the last day). My Grandma Bonnie even threw me an early First Birthday Party! Wow, I am a loved little girl. Here are some snapshots of the trip...

Riding in the car

Grandma feeds me the best food!

My favorite place in the pool
The last day mom realized that if she gave me my pacifier I would at least get in the water. Grandma is showing me how to kick.

Summer Begins!

Summer began this weekend and I had a lot of fun with my family and friends. I love being outside and am excited for the summer to come. We are off to Spokane on Tuesday (after Mom's first day of summer tutoring). We are going to visit the family and I even get to attend my first wedding. I am looking forward to some sunshine!

Wow, this is great! Grandpa, what are we going to dig up next? How about a sandbox?
My Grandma Bonnie and Cousin Maggie came over on Friday to spend time with me.
Giving my Godfather Nick a big slobbery kiss!My friend Ava turned one on Friday (the first of the three girls). She had a great birthday party and I had a lot of fun playing with all the kids.

A Great Father's Day

After sleeping 14 hours straight (my parents had to come check on me -crazy) my dad and I celebrated a special Father's Day. First, we played at home and he opened the present I made him. Then the family went to the park and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. I was getting a bit hungry so we went to Grandma's and spent the rest of the day there. I even got to see my new cousin again! It couldn't have been a better day. Thanks dad for being the best dad in the whole wide world!

Kisses from dad. Sorry dad, I am busy trying to put my whole fist in my mouth to kiss you back.
This is the best view in the park "Walking" with dad
Thank goodness my mom did not forget this push cart -my favorite!
Grandma even has a little watering can for me to help out. Too bad the frog is much more entertaining

My mom wanted to share this with you....my "look." It really cracks her up!

She laughs at me and then we both crack up together.
Attitude already?

11 + Months

Oops, guess I missed the 11 month post, although our computer has been acting up. My dad put in a lot of time trying to get my blog working again...Whew, I am glad he finally fixed it. It is true what they say...."Dad's can fix anything!"

I am sure you are asking yourself what I am up to these days, so I will share a little about my life at 11 months. First, no, I am not walking yet (but cruising pretty fast). Crawling is much faster and faster is more important to me at the time. I have a push cart that I LOVE to push around and I take turns shouting over my shoulders (my mom says it is pretty entertaining). I am learning more signs and getting pretty good at my sign language. I even like to tell Father Scott at church when I think it should be "all done." I am very vocal and also love to sing at church as well. Guess what - I tried real milk for the first time today. Tasty! In terms of eating, I eat pretty much anything my parents are eating, including radishes, cucumbers, and carrots!

As many of you know it has been raining A LOT here in Bellingham and pretty cold. I am looking forward to some sunshine hopefully soon (although that hasn't stopped us from getting out and having fun, as you will see)! Luckily, it seems to clear up later in the day and we have been taking walks every night after dinner, which has been better than nothing. I have to say, life is great!

I am counting down the days until my first birthday. I hear that I will get to see all my friends and even my family from Spokane. I can't wait!

This is a new toy that my mom brought home from school last week. Thank you Mrs. Lewis! I sure love thing! That green part of the toy cracks me up.
Rain, Rain, Go Away, Come Again Another Day!
After Mass last weekend some families and friends met up to have a picnic, play volleyball, and enjoy the playground at the park. It didn't rain, but it sure was cold! We still had a lot of fun and I am really getting to like my friend Hannah.
Higher please!
Come on Dad, I want to go back on the swing.
