St. Patrick's Day and Early Spring

The sun has finally decided to come out and I am excited to see all the new spring flowers. Our bulbs are coming up and I enjoy going outside at Grandma and Papa's house to see their beautiful gardens too. Last weekend mama planned a fun scavenger hunt around our house for Sam and I, and we sure had fun. Another thing we did for St. Patrick's Day was go downtown for the annual parade. We even saw Saint Patrick in the parade this year! We have made a few trips to the park and are having fun in our backyard. Yeah for Spring!!

I went to school with Mama on Friday for fun movie day. I love playing with the big kids!
Looking under the big chair for the first clue
The next clue, yeah!
The treasure was in the fridge, those silly leprechauns! Happy girl
The rain stopped just in time, but it sure was loud
They threw a lot of candy in this parade, so Sam and I were happy and having a blast!
Finding a dry spot to sit and wait for it to start
A fun afternoon at the park
Being silly!
Sam and I were pretending to be birds and this was our nestI have no idea where this pose came from??
Daddy had a day off after he came home from Spokane so we took him down to Jungle Playland. I think he was having just as much fun as Sam and I!Racing down the slide, super duper fast!
Taking a water break, this was hard work!
Who knew kids could have so much fun with a vacuum!
Having a snack outside, loving this sunshine!

Love you Great Grandpa

My Great Grandpa Al passed away on Friday. I just saw him a few weeks ago and this is a picture of us enjoying our dinner together. My daddy is heading over on an airplane with Uncle Kevin tomorrow because the weather has been so crazy lately. The pass was closed today and we thought the best decision was to let him go without us. We will miss his service and seeing all the family but most of all we will miss you Great Grandpa! Love you!

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
Amen

Friends!!

We had a super fun weekend in the Tri-Cities with our friends and Sam's Godparents. We have been trying to plan a weekend over there for a long time and it finally worked out. Good thing because Aubree and Hank are going to have a little brother soon too! We drove over on Friday and stayed until Sunday and believe me, I did not want to go. I told my mama I wanted to stay for 60 nights! We are all wishing we lived closer. We love you guys! Here are just a few pictures of the fun we had together....

The kids
They have a really fun park we got to play at. The weather was beautiful! Such a nice change!
Enjoying some yummy frozen yogurt. This place was amazing! You got to pick your flavor of yogurt and top it with all kinds of yummy treats. I think Bellingham needs one of these!
Aubree reading to me! I sure enjoyed this!
For dinner one night we went out to a place called The Texas Roadhouse. The servers even danced! Yummy!
Aubree and I being silly with our daddies!
We waited outside for a while and entertained ourselves by playing ring around the rosie.

March Already!!

I can't believe it is March already! Only about 7 more weeks and I'll have another little brother! We are all getting so excited and almost ready. My parents have decided that I will be going to school at Assumption in the fall to attend Kindergarten. I am soo excited!! We went to an open house and I met the teacher and saw my future classroom. I told my mom that I better bring my lunch box to the Open House. She was able to substitute in that classroom a few times this year as well, I wanted to go along the last time. Because of this decision we have taken a little break from "school" around here and have been just focusing on Lent. Sam and I have enjoyed playing with each other and just being kids.

Being silly. Too bad this doesn't add curls!
My fancy Mardi Gras Mask
Having a tea party with my brother today. This kept us entertained for a good hour and a half at least!
The sun came out and Mama and I made these paddles out of paper plates and popsicle sticks (Thank you Pinterest). They were great to hit the balloon around with. I was able to keep the balloon afloat for about 10 hits! Maybe tennis is in my future?
I think I was focusing more on the camera here....oops!
Coloring my raining day scene on the window. It poured this morning and I think my sun in the picture helped the real sun come out this afternoon!
And then the snow came this evening. How weird!!
I had to go out and play in it for a minute, don't think it will last.
