Last weekend we participated in the first Trail Classic, or Anna's Walk. It honored our friend Anna who is up in Heaven with Jesus. We walked around Lake Padden with others to support the wonderful foundation created by her parents and to spread the word about distracted driving.
I walked a little bit but I'm glad my parents brought the stroller because teddy and I got really tired
One night this week we carved pumpkins. I had two ideas, one was eye lashes and lips, the other was an "up down, up down face." Mama and I drew out my idea (the second) and dada did the carving. I loved it this year! I had so much fun playing in the guts and sat for a very long time picking out pumpkin seeds and separating them, definitely a change from past years.
I think I wrote last post about our very good friends moving away. They left on Friday so we spent some time this week together and saying goodbye. It was Elijah's 3rd birthday so we had a nice dinner and cake for him too.
Setting the timer on the camera, a little challenging with so many trying to cram in, but we made it work.
Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim came over Friday night to hang out and we had perfect weather to go out to Stoney Ridge. Cousin Maggie picked out a pumpkin and it was the last weekend so nobody was there! It was so nice!
My beautiful cousin Maggie and her perfect pumpkinWalking through the corn maze, or should I say mud pit?
After our trip to the farm we all went down town for some early trick or treating. All the businesses participated in a neat event. I saw some scary costumes, but had fun! I wonder what the real Halloween will be like??
I decided last minute that I wanted to be a kitty cat (after seeing a picture of Dora dressed as one). So mama put this together last minute and I set out for some yummy candy!
