My Time with Dada

My dada was very nice and decided to take 2 weeks off work to spend with the family after Sam was born. I have been lucky enough to have gotten to spend a lot of that time with him. He has taken me to gymnastics, the park, open gym, and various errands around town. We have had A LOT of fun!!! Here are some of the adventures we had...

Dada and I helping mom with the laundry...(I'm getting pretty clever manuvering items to reach certain things)
This is a really cool hidden park in Cornwall. Shhh.... it's a secret! They have all new equipment and it was awesome!
My dada thinks he is still a kid too
Look how high he got me!
We went down to the harbor to see the boats and the Marine Life Center. Can you lift me up dada, I can't see (notice my tippy toes)
I would like to touch that
Brrrr, this water is cold!
Hey, we're in the tank!
Bubbles in the backyard, so fun!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone! I am enjoying the extra time with my dada and getting to know my new brother. Yesterday dada took me to gymnastics and I LOVED showing him what I can do at the gym. Today we went for a short family walk and I played in the mud puddles. I even found a fun stick and threw rocks in the water (my favorite pasttime). Dada took me for a bike ride and we stopped by a few parks to swing and slide. Wow, I am a lucky little girl!

My shirt says "Kiss Me, I'm Cute"

I don't see any green

It's Ok brother

Elmo is still MY baby

My New Little Brother

As you may know my little brother was born on Friday morning. I spent some time at Grandmas and even got to visit him in the hospital. I have persuaded my mom and dad to help him create his own blog (you can read more about his birth story there in a few days). I know most of you voted for us to share a blog, but hey - this isn't a democracy, I'm already sharing enough with that guy :). His name is Samuel James, although I have a hard time getting use to calling him by his name. He is usually either "brother" or "Elijah" -my friend Jude's little brother (so funny!). Anyway, here are some quick snapshots of the last few days. I have been very good to my brother and love to "hold you."

Here he is
My first glimpse of Samuel

Ahhh...cute!

He's staying here, right?
Hey, look at me - I'm swinging. Hey, hey, look at me!Craft time with the girls
I really do love my brother

Keeping Busy

Mom and I have been keeping busy lately. We have enjoyed seeing the sunshine this week and find the snow flakes a little saddening. I wonder if the we will see more this weekend? I am becoming a real dare devil and scare my mommy on a regular basis. We went to the park this week and I was trying out some of my gymnastics moves only this time they were on top of a large play structure, not a short fall onto some padding. Well, thank goodness my mom's pregnancy hasn't slowed her down any because she caught me just in time! This post has a lot of random things that have amused my parents so enjoy!

Mom ordered a lamp for my brothers room and it came in an exciting box filled with peanuts (I thought you ate peanuts??) Anyway, boy, did I have fun playing with them and I can't believe my mom was ok with it! Must have been in an extra good mood that day?

I am overwhelmed by this "mess" and should start picking them up

My parents decided to get me a great play toy for the backyard. I was so happy and went up the stairs and down the slide about 20 times in a row! I think I will have fun in my backyard this spring and summer and maybe my friends will come play too!

Don't worry swing....I still love you!

It was our last week at school(mom's work)this week too. Mom is very sad, but I hope she knows that I am just as sad or even more so. I think I will have to con them into taking me back to see my friends at school. I have so much fun and talk about school all the time. I even know many of the kids by name!

The last set of pictures are from our relaxing Saturday afternoon at home. I love to play in my brothers room and today I wanted to check out his clothing selection...pretty cute! I decided to see if a few of his shirts would fit me. What do you think?
