Parade and Popsicles

Today was the Ski to Sea Grand Parade. I got my parents to take me (they have never been before) and I showed them a great time. We rode our bikes to our friends' house and then walked to the front seats that my friend Max scoped out for us early in the morning. I saw so many friends and even got to eat a hot dog! (My mom said no cotton candy this year, darn.) After enough sunshine for the day I rode home in the bike trailer and got to eat a delicious popsicle. Boy, this was such a fun day, I was so excited I couldn't even take a nap!

Let's get this parade started already
This is my popsicle, would you like some?
The picture says it all
It got too cold for my little fingers, thanks mom for helping me out
TOTALLY worth it

My New Cousin, Maggie Mae

My new cousin Maggie arrived on May 15th. I am very excited to have a little cousin to play with and grow up with. My mom and dad say I am really lucky to live so close (they only wish it was a little closer). My dads family was here this weekend to meet Maggie and I got to go celebrate the new life as well.

Let's play paddycake Maggie

She has our attention

Does Daddy want another baby?

Arizona Pics

Well, my family and I are home safe from our big trip to Arizona. It was my first time on an airplane and I didn't really know what to think. On the way there I got to sit in my carseat where I had my very own seat, but got to sleep in Dad's arms on the way home. Everyone around us said I did very well on both flights. I wonder where we'll go next....

Got my bag packed and ready to go (can you see my first pigtails?)

My mom's Uncle Art and Aunt Sue live in Phoenix, so I got to meet them on our way to Sedona. They are very nice and treated me like royalty - I hope mom and dad were taking notes.
I've never seen the sun this bright, thank goodness for 50 spf.
My mom and I hiked up to this big rock in an effort to get that Road Runner, but alas, we were unable to push it off the edge.
What a view from the resort. We could go hiking while we waited for Auntie Joanie to get ready.
Mom and Dad went for a bike ride, mom keeps talking about how much fun she had and wants to go more.
Ah, poolside. Let me get warmed up a bit before going in.
Looks like Dad has been using my sunscreen - I should be the one with the shades
Me and mom in the pool, it wasn't as warm as my bath and took a little getting used to.
Here we are on the plane ride home, almost there!

Arizona, Here I Come!

So, we are leaving for Arizona tomorrow. I am very excited for my first plane ride! I will get to meet my great Uncle Art and Aunt Sue and even see some sunshine! My mom and dad keep saying how excited they are to feel the warm sun. We are going to stay in Sedona and see the beautiful red rock and I think I will even be able to go swimming. I am sure my mom will have plenty of pictures to share with all of you when we get back. Oh, and hopefully by then my cousin Maggie Mae will be here. I have been patiently waiting for months now, and I was hoping to meet her before I left. Oh well, I guess it will be something to look forward to when we are on vacation.

Mom and I had to get our toes ready for sandal weather
These are my friends Mr. Clark and Hannah. We participated in Walk For Life on Saturday to support the Whatcom County Pregancy Clinic. It was a lot of fun and the rain even held off. (As you can see I am wearing my winter fleece and warm bunny hat -Yes, it is May 10th! Guess we have to go Arizona to see the sunshine)

10 Months

Another month has passed and with it comes more fun, more firsts and more responsibility, well maybe not responsibility. My parents get a kick out it when I try to copy them. I sure hope they still think it's funny when I'm a teenager. I'm crawling all over the place, pulling myself up and walking with help. I really love my Grandma's dog - he's quite entertaining. I'm also a big fan of kids and people, stores and church are some of my favorite places.

My new helmet and I can still hold my head up!
How 'bout I take some pictures of you for a change?
Hmmm, let's read this one.
