Vacation -Part 2 (Brookings)

On Tuesday we woke up and headed on the road again, this time to Brookings, Oregon.  We drove down Hwy 101, which was absolutely beautiful.  Why Brookings?  Well, our good friends and my Godparents live there.  Maddie is also my parents' Goddaughter.  Godfamily all around!  They moved last year for Uncle Nick's job.  We are happy for them but miss them dearly.  I have been waiting to see my best friend Ava and her new house for a very long time and we couldn't have had a better time!  It was well worth the 9 hours it took from Seaside, but hey we have a van!  Yesterday I made up a song after heading to Fred Meyer with my mom.  "I'm living in a car that won't stop driving!"  Wish I could sing the tune for you here.  Anyway, here is a "few" pictures of our spectacular time with our Godfamily and the wonderful memories that will be with us forever!
Auntie Becca makes amazing breakfast every morning!  Yummy!

Playing with Maddie and Ava!

Little Gianna was very curious as to why this new baby was in her swing

Going on a hike down to Harris Beach with daddy and Uncle Nick

So Me!!

Examining the starfish we found right on the beach

Mama and Auntie Becca hangin' with the babies

My beautiful Godsister Maddie

Baby Nick enjoying some beach time

Waiting for the fire.  Something must have been very funny, what was it Sam?

I just love the ocean!

Surf's Up!!

And so does my daddy.  This is him body surfing and Uncle Nick in with him.  They are kids at heart!

We found a cool beach fort and were imagining there were pirates living in it.

We went to a place called Ocean World one day in Crescent City.  This is the city where they will be moving next weekend to be closer to Uncle Nick's work.  They found a beautiful house to buy and we are planning our next visit.  Next week mama??

We got to pet real sharks!  (I got better pictures on my camera, I'll have to figure out how to upload those)

Sam was so tired on the way back to their house that he fell asleep in the car with his lollypop.  It was so funny as he drowsily licked and bobbed his head.

Best friends forever!

Baby Gianna having fun in the sand too!

The last night we had a beach fire and roasted smores!  What could be better?

The Sunset was oh so beautiful, but impossible to capture on the camera.

Maddie is so good with the babies!  We love you Gonnellas!!

Summer BBQ

We enjoyed a summer barbeque with Auntie Julie, Uncle Kevin, and cousin Maggie this past weekend. I really love playing with my cousin, especially in the pool!  The weather here has been wonderful and we are trying to take advantage of every sunny day. This summer seems to be going by way to fast.  We are off to Seaside with Grandma Bonnie and Papa Jim on Thursday.  This year Aunt Becky and Uncle Doug are also going, and we are excited to see them.  We will also be able to go down to Brookings to see our dear friends the Gonnellas for a few days.  Road trip here we come!!

Nicholas chillin' with his cap to keep the sun off his face

Action shots!

Sam just loves Nicholas

So does Maggie.  She was so amazingly good with him, even carrying him!  She loves babies!

Nicholas got a new mat.  He loves the toys to look at and so does Sam!

Summer!

It is finally here!  We have been enjoying our backyard pool, concerts in the park, picnics with friends, and good old family fun!  The last few days we have had some crazy thunder storms.  The one this evening was so loud!!  Sam and I went outside in our pajamas and ran around the front yard looking at the lightning and listening to the booms!  That was after we screamed our heads off in bed at the sound of thunder over our loud jet plane air purifier!  We were scared at first but after our experience outside we thought it was pretty cool.  I went inside and even drew a picture!

Happy clean baby!

Taking a break from the pool to hold my baby brother

All the kids at Lucy's birthday party

Enjoying this awesome pool!

Playday at Grandma's house!

My Fairy Party

As many of you know I have been very interested in fairies lately, so I requested a fairy party.  Mama had a lot of fun planning it and I sure had fun with my friends.  I don't have much to say, but the pictures tell the story of my party for those of you who couldn't make it.  Enjoy!
