Flashback #1 -My Photography

So I misplaced my camera after Christmas and it popped out of one of the sleeping bags a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately when it dropped on the ground the screen cracked and the camera no longer works right.  Well, we took out the SD card and took a look at all the pictures on it.  The first pictures were of our road trip down to Seaside and then to see our friends, the Gonnellas.  I decided to put the pictures up on my blog in different posts as to not overwhelm you ;)
In other news, I had an awesome spring break!  Nobody in our family wanted it to end, however, I am excited to go back to school tomorrow!

Happy Easter and Happy Spring!

Wishing all of my family and friends a very Blessed Easter!  (I learned Easter lasts 50 days!!)  We have been blessed with beautiful weather here in Bellingham which adds to this glorious time of year.  I'm pretty excited today because my spring break started and I am having so much fun playing already.  We also have a friend from school spending the week with us too, while her parents work.  I'm sure mama has some fun adventures planned for us!
Here are some of the spring events that have been keeping us busy...
Morning snuggles with my baby brother before school last week

Dying Easter Eggs!

Having an Easter egg hunt out at my grandma's and papa's

And Auntie Joanie was here to play games with us.  She made us an obstacle course which we both enjoyed.

Easter Morning at Mass

And then we had a great family day hanging out in the back yard and spending time at the beach by our house.

Someone built a fun swing on the tree down there.

I had fun climbing up all these rocks.  All in my bare feet!!

Soccer

This past Saturday was my very first soccer game.  When we arrived I saw all the people, cars, goals, fields, oh I could go on and on.....I was so overwhelmed!!  I told my mama that I did not want to play or be there but once my team arrived and I settled in the feeling went away.  We had only once practice prior to this game and it was in about 30 degree hailing, raining, freezing weather and basically I kicked a ball so when the game began you can imagine how it went.  Daddy was amazed how well I learned just over the course of the one day (we played 4 -12 minute games and took turns so it was 3 on 3.)  I even scored a goal!!  Although I scored, I don't remember when it was or even that I scored ;)  I ended up having fun and am looking forward to more practices and games this Spring!

March Madness!

Here I am again, running behind.  Whew, this school thing takes up a lot of time, blogging has been at the back of my mind ;)  This March has started with a bang.  We had a beautiful weekend last weekend and were busy enjoying the beautiful place we live.  This past week we had a great visit with my Grandma Bonnie who came to celebrate Sam's birthday with us and see the family.  I am doing great in school and wanted to share some pictures from the "Fun Run" this past week.  It definitely lived up to its name and I had a blast.  Happy March friends and family!
This is what happens when we have a nice, warm, sunny day in March.

Boulevard Park, a wonderful place!

Who taught me these poses?  (How do girls automatically know how to do this? Oh my!)

And then we came home for dress up time

Fun times!

Me and my favorite cousin!  I love her!!

Sharing my purse contents with her as we wait at the restaurant

Nice work Maggie!

Fairy Lily is ready to run laps and raise money for the school

And she is off....

I love this!! My brother wanted to run too so I let him run with me a lap while holding hands.  He then rested and I grabbed him for a second time around.  (So sweet!)

Me and my friend Emmy

I won a prize for all my green!

This was taken at the St. Patrick's Day parade.  We had a good day and even did our annual scavenger hunt at home.

This is my whole class after the run.  The next morning I told my mama I needed a cane, I was so sore.  I ran over 2 miles!!
