The Beach!

We spent 3 days at the beach on the Washington Coast. My Papa is retired from the military so they rented a really neat beach front house at the naval resort and we had a blast! My Great Aunt Colleen and her husband Pedro also came up for a night. When we got there we had "beach weather" but the next day the sun came out and people were actually swimming in the ocean! It was hot! I loved the sand on my feet but didn't enjoy the actual waves from the ocean. I would run the other way and scream when they crashed in. My favorite part of the sand castles was wrecking them so I don't have a castle to show you, but I did fly a kite with dada! I am sure you know how my mom takes pictures so it was a challenge for her to post here and believe me, there were many more! I can't wait to go back! Enjoy the pictures....

We left early Sunday so we could make it in time to watch the Seahawks. I am ready to cheer on the team!

Summer...Don't Go!!

During Brother's nap time Mama and I always head outside. I have been playing so hard and enjoying every last ray of sunshine! We had such a great summer and can feel fall coming, although fall will bring many fun times too! I am a lucky girl!

Running so fast!
I learned how to blow bubbles last week. This one makes really neat ones.
Plaing with my friends Luke and Simeon. We sure had fun!
Riding my bike around the loop...I'm getting faster.
Mmmmm...one of my favorite tastes of summer.
I sure miss my cousin Maggie. The other day I looked up at my mama and said, "Remember Maggie?" So we got together and played at my Grandma's. It sure was fun.
Cooking some dinner.
We even played in the bath together.

Spokane, Summer 09

We just got back from a week at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Boy, it was fun! We had to spend a lot of time in the car to get there, but luckily my Auntie Becca sent me a wonderful travel pack with lots of entertaining toys and books! Once we got there we had picnics, tea parties, and I got to see so many family members. There were so many pictures so here are just a few....
Oooo, this is a big sandwich! Eating in the car trying to get there as soon as possible!

Are you ready yet? (one of the first things!)

The fun floatie...it even has horns!

We went up to Green Bluff, which is group of farms. We wanted to pick raspberries, but instead got to pick apricots. Mmmm!

Too Heavy! Can anyone help me?

I really enjoyed pushing by baby Samantha in this neat stroller! Did you know this was my Auntie Becky's?

Enjoying dessert at the picnic

We took a few days and went up to "The River." The weather wasn't that great but it didn't stop us from getting in!

Splashing and throwing rocks

Definitely not as warm as Grandma Bonnie's pool!

Great Grandpa gives good back rubs!

When we returned to Spokane there was a big rain storm and this was the result!

Mid jump (you know how much I dislike being dirty so this was pretty funny)

Visiting with my Uncle Jim...he's soo funny!

Riverfront park....wow there are a lot of fun things to do down there!

This was my favorite! The merry-go-round again!

After the park we went to P.F. Changs...one of my parents favorite restaurants in Spokane. This huge horse was outside. I loved it!

On the last day we were in Spokane we drove all the way up to the clouds! (Mount Spokane, where my dada used to ski a lot.) We explored and it was exciting!

Grandma Bonnie found this neat rock for me. Thanks!

What a view!

Serious Mariner's Fans! (Grandma and Grandpa were going to the games last weekend and you know how much I love my Mariner's shirt.)

Fun Play Date!

This week we went to Anacortes one day and met up with one of my momma's good friends from high school. She has three children and I had so much fun playing with them!! The oldest is Megan and she is soo fun! She is going to be in second grade so she enjoyed showing me all her neat toys and showing me around. Dylan is my age and it was great playing with a boy...I don't have many friends my age who are boys!! They even have a trampoline, which I will be talking about for weeks. I haven't had so much fun in a long time!

This picture says it all...."Happy!"

Jumping high with my friend Megan
Taking a breather...whew, this is hard work!

Having a picnic...my next favorite thing to tea parties!

Stroller races with Dylan!

Megan was even good with Sam. He was cracking up at her!
This is baby Marissa....so adorable! Sam was pretty happy to have a friend too!
